- Prepare 1 cup : Basmati rice
- Get 1 cup : jaggery crushed

- Make ready 15-20 : pistachio
- Take 1 tbspn : fennel seeds

- Soak rice for 20 to 30 minutes and then boil and strain the water and keep aside
- In a pot add milk and jaggery and cook until jaggery melts and set aside
- In a pot add oil and add green cardamom, fennel seeds and mix well
- Add almonds, pistachio and coconut chunks into it and saute for few minutes
- Now add melted jaggery and milk mixture into it and mix well
- Add boiled rice into it, mix gently and cook until liquid dries up
- Steam cook on low flame for few minutes. Jaggery rice ready to be served, garnish with nuts
